The Arca de Noé Winery was born in 1953 and has grown in the Barrio de las Cuevas district surrounded by old wineries with centuries-old drafts and the colour of San Asensio's vineyards, in the heart of La Rioja Alta.

From our first winery "La Bodega Carcedo" we preserve the emblematic names of its four drafts - "Baco", "Apóstoles", "Salto" and "Infierno" - and a philosophy of life that gives our wines their unique character, resulting from a combination of the wisdom of tradition, a privileged terroir, 780 hectares of own vineyard and precise winemaking.

Since the foundations of the new winery were laid in 1980, known to all as "El Arca" ("the Ark"), our facilities have grown into a modern and functional winery incorporating state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to produce high-quality red, white and rosé wines, through precise winemaking processes.

Our red wines are aged in an underground cellar containing more than 500 carefully selected American oak barrels, in which our wines rest in calm and controlled environmental conditions, allowing them to evolve, conferring them with texture and a plethora of aromas.
